**Focus Auto Body & Glass**, located at 30 Stapleton Street, just off Nairn Avenue, is a small body shop that’s big on quality. When joining our team, you join a family of Focus Hyundai employees with the best management team in the business

Successful **Estimators** in the automotive repair industry have exceptional organization skills and are detail-oriented and can multi-task, managing many items at the same time.

**The job duties are as follows**:

- Estimate damage vehicles and write supplements for hidden damages.
- Deal with MPI and insurance companies
- Develops and communicates standard repair procedures, and quality and cost standards within the detail, paint and body departments, and monitors performance.
- Develops and oversees the weekly and daily scheduling of work through the collision center. Directs the movement of vehicles through the collision center and assigns work to the technicians in the most productive manner. Communicate due date goals to technicians daily, and coordinates information flow between the office and the production floor.
- Breaks down repair orders by department and task assigns work to the appropriate technician. Coordinates all supplements with the front office to ensure that the repair order is properly updated.
- Coordinates the acquisition, storage and use of sheet metal and hard parts.
- Administers preventative maintenance program for all equipment and tools, and makes recommendations to management regarding replacement or upgrade.
- Keeps up-to-date with new techniques and materials, and facilitates training for all appropriate personnel.
- Tracks and monitors key numbers to monitor quality, productivity and costs.
