**Summary**
As a **Light Duty Wrecker Operator** at City Wide Towing, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional towing and recovery services to our clients. This position requires a commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and the ability to operate various towing equipment effectively. **Responsibilities**
- Operate towing vehicles safely and efficiently to recover vehicles as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients during their time of need.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on towing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding job status and updates.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while on the job site.
- Assist with minor automotive repairs when necessary.
- Use and manage E-Logs.
**Basic/Required Qualifications**
- **Minimum Class 5 Driver's License**:
- Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably in the automotive or towing industry.
- Strong knowledge of Calgary and area
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Able to maintain records and provide reports
- Recent criminal record check (employer-paid)
- Recent driver’s abstract (employee-paid)
- Must pass drug, alcohol, and fit-to-work test
- Able to work independently and with a team
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Air brakes certification is an asset (Q Endorsement)
**Working Conditions/Physical Demands**
- Perform moderate to heavy tasks for long periods of time
- Work primarily outdoors in all weather
- Lift/push/pull up to 100lbs regularly
- Travel may include local, provincial, and inter-provincial routes
- May assist at accident scenes with emergency personnel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
