**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Operate and maintain your own commercial vehicle for the transportation of goods.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Perform routine inspections and basic automotive repairs on your vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
- Load and unload freight, utilizing forklift equipment as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize routes and improve efficiency.

**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving is required; experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair principles and practices.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
