We’re looking for a Director, Enterprise Risk Management to join our Enterprise Risk Management team.

Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Risk Management the Director, Enterprise Risk Management is responsible for leading the development and oversight of our ERM program, ensuring a proactive and cohesive approach to risk management across the organization. **What your day looks like**:

- Lead the development, implementation, maintenance, communication, and oversight of the ERM program
- Promote risk awareness and accountability across the organization in collaboration with the VP, Enterprise Risk Management and Chief Risk Officer
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of business continuity plans and crisis management programs
- Lead the development and implementation of ERM stress testing and scenario analysis
- Oversee the management of Aviso’s top risks, including ensuring adequate controls are in place and risk mitigation strategies are planned or in progress
- Present risk assessments and related risk information to senior leaders, providing strategic insights and ensuring informed decision-making
- Lead the drafting of quarterly reports for senior management and the Board of Directors
- Monitor developing global trends and emerging risks to benchmark Aviso’s risk management practices against industry standards and best practices
- Provide input and recommendations on strategic decisions and program enhancements
- Oversee and provide strategic direction to the team of Enterprise Risk Managers. Lead and guide the team, drive their goals and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence

**Requirements**:
**Your experience and skills**:

- Minimum 10 years of relevant enterprise and/or operational risk management experience, preferably in the financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation, RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional certification, Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification or similar is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of ERM Framework, tools, systems and best practices
- Risk-oriented mindset with expertise in identifying and assessing risks across various exposures
- Exceptional relationship building skills - adept at establishing trust and credibility, working effectively with, and influencing individuals at all organizational levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and inter-personal skills
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
