HEAVY EQUIPMENT FIELD TECHNICIAN

Edmonton, AB

Sterling Crane has an exciting opportunity for a Heavy Equipment Field Technician based in our location in Edmonton, AB. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with occasional overtime required and some travel to various site locations.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Troubleshooting, repairing, testing and inspecting both mobile and crawler hydraulic cranes, boom trucks, trailers and light duty vehicles within an industry leading PM program.**:

- **Determine parts required for service and repair to equipment in Sterling Crane's Fleet.**:

- **Provide detailed repair comments in both paper and electronic work order format.**

**Qualifications**:

- **Journeyman preferred but willing to accept 3rd or 4th year apprentice is preferred but all will be considered.**:

- **A strong working knowledge of Link-Belt, Liebherr, Grove, Demag and Tadano crane manufacturers is an asset.**:

- **CVIP license or willing to enter the CVIP program.**:

- **Working experience in electrical and hydraulic systems is required.**:

- **Must supply own hand tools, and a valid driver’s license.**:
