**Overview**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in various settings, including home care, nursing homes, and hospice environments.

**Duties**
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, particularly those with dementia or working persons with disabilities.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document patient care activities accurately and report any changes in condition to nursing staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

**Skills**
- Experience or training in dementia care and hospice care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.
- Ability to provide compassionate caregiving while maintaining professionalism.
- Familiarity with patient care practices in home care settings or nursing homes is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with healthcare teams and families.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting or assisting patients.
