As a **Cabinet Assembler Team Lead**, you will spearhead assembly within a dedicated team. You are accountable for quality, schedule and budget.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Leading the team from the front, owning every task and staying proactive
- Assigning duties to team members
- Trouble shoot issues to have them resolved in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe organized area
- Give direction on details and set schedules for projects
- Quality Control (QC): Take responsibility of the process and the product from the beginning by managing the process, reporting deviations, and managing to ensure best-practices are adhered to
- Physical QC of each/every work order before it’s cleared to go to logistics. This needs to include confirming measurements/dimensions are accurate, and that the product is free from damage and acceptable for install
- Update the status/progress on the applicable Smartsheet’s
- Collect and report on feedback to make sure improvement changes are made/sustained
- Making sure the team keeps accurate timing for the time tracking system
**YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:
- Quality Focused
- Ability to understand and interpret Blueprints/Shop Drawings
- Experience leading a team or experience in a leadership role
- 3 + years’ experience in the architectural millwork industry, or similar manufacturing environment
- Hands-on with practical build and/or installation experience
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
- Able to effectively build and maintain strong relationships
- Detail Oriented and metric driven
- Creative, with the ability to think of “outside the box” to come up with effective & timely solutions
**EDUCATION**:
- High school Diploma (or equivalent)
