IDC Canada is looking for an
- **Research Analyst** to join our Market Insights and Analytics team on a full-time basis for a permanent opportunity.-
**Responsibilities**:

- Manage various local and global assignments, deliver custom consulting projects and ensure project milestones/deliverables are met
- Conduct research on macro-economic and IT trends to assist global consulting and analyst teams
- Compile, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data using Python (Numpy, Pandas), Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access; assist in any ad-hoc data modeling
- Perform data analysis with respect to market forecasting and segmentation by industry, customer region, and customer size
- Establish and manage quality control procedures to ensure data integrity
- Present key findings and results to external and internal clients

**Qualifications**:

- 4+ years experience, including academic projects or internships
- Bachelors degree (business, Math or statistics preferred)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft’s suite of products such as Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated, able to work in a team and demonstrates the ability to work independently
- Experience with project management and process improvement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-project environment with the ability to re-prioritize effectively when necessary
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels
- Ability to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders whose requirements often conflict**_
