**Environment Contracts Administrator 2**

Annual salary: $ 58,100.00 - 63,800.00

**What you'll do**
- Provides oversight on the procurement, contract administration and administrative support for a wide range of

Environment contracts for an assigned business unit to ensure compliance to procurement policies and internal approval
and routing processes. Works with Supply Chain to develop and implement business unit processes that align with
Procurement requirements.
- Performs some or all the duties of the Environment Contracts Administrator (ECA) 1 job. Provides advice and guidance,

work co-ordination and training to the ECA 1 job.
- Writes contract approval memos and completes scope, schedule and budget for contract requests based on existing or

supplied information.
- Investigates and resolves escalated problems and issues (such as invoicing, payment process, vendor assistance and

contract set-up) referred from ECA 1 and other staff. Researches problems and issues and works with Accounts Payable
and Supply Chain to determine best option for resolution.
- Works with vendors to identify opportunities to improve administrative processes to minimize processing inefficiencies/

errors.
- Publishes business unit content and documents to Hydroweb and document repositories (such as SharePoint sites).
- Performs duties of a minor nature related to the above duties that do not affect the rating of the job.

**What you bring**
- High school graduation; and one (1) year as an Environment Contracts Administrator 1 position or two (2) years of

contract and office administrative experience;
OR
- Diploma with courses in Office or Business Administration or a relevant field of study and one (1) year of contract and

office administrative experience.
- Post-secondary courses or experience in contract administration considered an asset.
- Requires in-house training in BC Hydro systems (SAP and supply chain management system, Hydroweb author); or

complete in-house training within one (1) month of starting in the job.
- Registered with World Commerce & Contracting as a CCM Associate (completion of the Fundamentals of Commercial

and Contract Management program) in good standing; or must complete within six (6) months of starting the job.

- This is for a permanent Full-time Regular (FTR) MoveUP Group 7 opportunity on the team, headquartered at our

Edmonds location in Burnaby, BC.
- Please note the duties for an Environment Contracts Administrator 1 are as follows:

- Provides procurement and contract administration support to Environment staff by: preparing and processing various

contracts, work orders, material requests/requisitions and contract changes; following-up with vendors as required;
maintaining complete and accurate file records; tracking and documenting vendor performance and reporting on contractor
Key Performance Indicators to management; monitoring contract status to recommend contract changes; reviewing,
processing and routing invoices and contract requests to management for approval and following-up as required; working
with Finance to identify monthly accruals to process; and acting as initial point of contact for Environment staff/vendors and
Supply Chain/Accounts Payable to resolve issues and escalates issues to Environmental Contracts Administrator (ECA) 2
as appropriate.
- Provides guidance and training to Environment staff and vendors on administrative, procurement, contract administration

Communicates updates to processes and procedures to Environment staff.
- Responds to inquiries related to procurement, contract and invoicing processes and procedures from Environment staff

and vendors. Refers inquiries to others (ECA 2, Supply Chain, Accounts Payable and Finance) as required.
- Provides a range of administrative, clerical and business support services such as: scheduling meeting logistics; reviewing

and processing local purchases, employee expense claims and time entry; coordinating department office moves and
accommodations; onboarding and offboard
