Lighting Specialist - Edmonton

McKenna Agencies is a well-respected electrical sales agency with a long, rich history in Alberta and we are currently looking for our newest member to help drive our lighting business.

We are seeking a lighting sales specialist that has fresh ideas for increasing our market presence and influence within the lighting industry. The primary goal would be establishing meaningful contacts within the distribution network to further recognition with our existing partners. You would also need to be confident in presenting training and product demonstrations as well as stocking promotions both in person and online with Microsoft Teams. The ability to implement a lighting design from a concept to a completed project is a necessity that can be developed. Ongoing self-improvement to stay up to date with lighting technologies and trends is at the core of how we bring value to our clients.
- Has previous sales experience in lighting or the electrical industry
- Can demonstrate education associated with the lighting or electrical industry
- Is eager to learn about lighting layouts & design
- Has knowledge in lighting controls and products
- Has excellent software skills and can adjust to various platforms
- Has excellent oral, written and verbal presentation skills

This is an immediate position serving primarily the Edmonton area but will involve occasional air travel within Canada and potentially the US when safe to do so.

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year

- Edmonton, AB T5S 1L3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
