Footprints is seeking an experienced and energetic administrative and operational professional to join our Head Office Team in a Security Operations and Communications Centre (SOCC) position. Being part of a management team that understands work/life balance - Must be flexible with all shift’s Mornings ,Evenings weekends, and holidays - After Hours on-call support for staff on occasion - Ability to lead and work in a team environment during high-pressure situations - Strong leadership abilities - Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills - Excellent computer skills and the ability to multitask are required for this position - Working independently in a demanding environment while maintaining a calm disposition - Excellent customer service skills - Perform and monitor dispatch duties; excellent phone communication, scheduling employees, taking short-notice service requests, responding to questions, and initiating appropriate responses to requests - Complete a variety of complex and detail-oriented administrative tasks in support operations - Prepare, maintain, and distribute various reports both internally and externally - Maintain accurate and organized electronic file systems and operational equipment inventories - Complete data entry in a timely and accurate manner - Follow-up with and act as a liaison with various individuals, both internally and externally, at all levels of the organization with the highest level of customer service - Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all company information, procedures, and investigations - Other duties as assigned **Required Qualifications and Skills** - Minimum of 3-5 years experience in dispatching - The ability to learn new things - Excellent computer skills including proficiency with MS Office suite - Security knowledge preferred - A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to jump in and assist - Ability to be productive and efficient with limited supervision - Ability to work with precision and accuracy while demonstrating attention to detail - Strong organizational and planning skills in an office environment with fluctuating volumes and demands - Ability to mitigate problems and find creative solutions - Strong and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask while prioritizing work - Valid BC Driver’s License - Ability to safely perform the physical elements of the position, which includes lifting (
