The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is currently seeking one (1) full-time contract (12 months) Research Analyst who specializes in qualitative research to support a Senior Scientist leading a large, international research program focused on improving access to psychological treatments for depression and anxiety in low-resource settings from a patient-centered lens. The position will be located at the Institute of Mental Health Policy Research. The Research Analyst will report primarily to the Principal Investigator and have functional reporting to the Research Manager.
Key Accountabilities:
Responsibilities of the Research Analyst include but are not limited to:
- Recruitment of relevant participants for qualitative interviews and focus group discussions
- Conduct qualitative interviews and focus group discussions
- Coding qualitative data using qualitative software (NVivo)
- Store and manage qualitative patient trackers, consent forms, and interview transcriptions in accordance with REB guidelines
- Assist in developing qualitative interview guides
- Monitor and maintain deadlines and schedules
- Disseminate research findings orally and in writing
- Prepare written correspondence, reports and presentations using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
**Requirements**:
- One year of recent and related experience with qualitative research including one year of recent and related experience in a research environment in a mental health setting or relevant field
- Prior experience working with qualitative analysis software, such as NVivo/Atlas.ti/ Dedoose
- Demonstration of superior organizational skills and a high attention to detail, particularly within qualitative research projects
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with a team
- Demonstrated verbal and written skills
- Self-directed with an ability to make decisions and exercise good judgement
- Superior time management skills with flexibility to adjust to evolving priorities
- Ability to work accurately and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history
- Fluency in Spanish is considered an asset but not a requirement
**Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.**
**Please Note**:This full-time, contract (12 months) position is part of the OPSEU Bargaining Unit.
**Salary Range**: $25.03 - $33.38 per hour
