The Saskatoon Blades are looking for a dedicated, responsible & active individual with a flexible
schedule to dress as the mascot for Community Events, Appearances & Game Days as needed.
Our purpose as an organization is “to create a sense of pride and belonging through entertainment”. We
count on our dedicated Promotions Crew to help us create that pride and show our community how
much fun a Blades game day can really be.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Perform in the ‘Pokecheck’ introduction onto the ice prior to the game.
- Interact with fans during events in a positive, exciting way.
- Walk around SaskTel Centre during the game.
- Participate during intermission activations on-ice or on the concourse.
- Appearances may also include but not limited to parades, suite visits, crowd prompts, dancing &
various photo opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications**:

- Expression of a friendly, engaging, enthusiastic & animated personality within a non-speaking

role.
- Must be comfortable performing & interacting with fans in front of large crowds.
- Good physical condition with the ability to withstand the demands of performing in a costume.
- Ability to be self-sufficient and work individually when needed.
- Flexible schedule - Must be able to work most home games, nights/weekends and holidays as

required.
- Prior mascot or related experience preferred but not required.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
