Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient care. This position is based in a retail setting and requires knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medication administration.
**Duties**:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and labeling
- Process prescription orders and verify patient information
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering phone calls
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant ( 1 to 2 years experience)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week

**Experience**:
- Pharmacy technician: 1 year (preferred)
