Job Summary:
The Coco Cafe is looking for a full time lead line cook to join our fun and inclusive team. This is a daytime position that includes weekend daytime work, in a positive and energetic environment that celebrates unique abilities of each individual.

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and contribute to creating delicious dishes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served according to food safety guidelines
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages to the kitchen manager
- Clean and maintain workstations and equipment to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen environment
- Assist with meal preparation during busy periods or as needed

**Skills**:

- Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service establishment
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
