**Position Scope**

Due to our rapid expansion, we are looking for an Accounting Manager to support the team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Parent company:

- Supervise the day-to-day accounting duties, including AR, AP, bank reconciliations, etc.
- Prepare and file GST and PST returns on a monthly basis.
- Assist in month-end financial and management report preparation and year-end accounts audit and review.
- Assist with the due diligence and closing adjustments in any assets, company and business acquisitions.
- Prepare the consolidated financial statements for all companies in the group.
- Coordinate activities of external audit.
- Assist in overviewing the compliance of the banks’ covenants and preparing compliance certificates on a regular basis.
- Evaluate and improve existing accounting and internal control systems.
- Oversee the tax and regulatory reporting and compliance. Coordinate with accountants for tax planning.

Subsidiaries:

- Keep the books for the subsidiaries, including VAT filing assistance to accountants.
- Prepare and handle intercompany transactions/billings among the parent company and subsidiaries.
- Prepare and/or coordinate with the local accountant to prepare the monthly financial statements and management reports for the parent company.
- Work with the local accountant to close the books and prepare the financial statements for year-end audit/review and bank compliance, if any.
- Coordinate with the local tax accountant to report and pay the payroll, sales, corporate income tax, and other governmental returns.
- Coordinate with the subsidiaries’ Manager to prepare annual budgets.
- Prepare cash flow analysis of each subsidiary on a regular basis.

**Qualifications and abilities**:

- CPA designation for 5+ years
- At least a few years of being a manager supervising the whole accounting team.
- Full cycle accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV is an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in international accounting, particularly transfer pricing arrangement.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce accurate and timely results.
- Excellent command of written and verbal English.
