**First Nations Technical Services Advisory Group Inc. (TSAG)** provides technical services and training for Alberta First Nations in the Treaty 6, 7 and 8 Regions.

TSAG is seeking a highly motivated individual to take on the responsibility of a contract **Project Coordinator **in our Edmonton Office. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Project Coordinator is responsible for liaising with vendors, licensees, and government partners in implementing changes to Alberta Regional Home and Community Care Program assessment instruments.

The Project Coordinator will work with First Nations Inuit Health Branch to ensure a smooth transition and implementation of the new assessment instruments to the Clinicians working in First Nations in Alberta.

This is a contract position for 1 year and requires in office attendance in Edmonton. The position will also involve some travel within Alberta.

Project Coordinator - InterRAI HC Assessments Transition and IRRS Implementation

The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of the project by coordinating various activities, resources, and stakeholders to meet project objectives. This is a 1 year consulting/contract position working for First Nations Technical Services Advisory Group Inc. (TSAG) for a project required by First Nations Inuit Health Branch (FNIHB).

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Planning: Collaborate with FNIHB project leads to develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines of activities, and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication among project team members, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed and aligned. Stakeholders in this project include;
- FNIHB Home Care Program - Nurse educators/ advisors, Regional Home Care Coordinator
- FNIHB e-health,
- Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI),
- Vendors (Momentum, Okaki, Relias),
- Alberta First Nation home care programs - Health director, home care coordinators, home care nurses
- First Nation Technical Services Advisory Group (TSAG)
- Alberta Health Services, Alberta Health
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and work with the team to develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project schedules, tracking lists, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.
- Coordinating project activities among the different stakeholders as per established timelines
- Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress and performance against established goals and objectives, and report on key performance indicators.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and address project issues, conflicts, and bottlenecks, working with the team to find solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and that the implementation of InterRAI Assessments and IRRS is in compliance with relevant regulations and best practice
- Budget Management: Assist in monitoring and managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and reporting financial status to project leadership.

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary Degree or Diploma
- Project Management skills, including planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
- Understanding of project budgets, forecasting and risk management.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Technical proficiency in MS Office
- Experience in managing or coordinating projects.
- A valid driver's license.

This Project Coordinator role in the InterRAI Assessments and IRRS Implementation project is a vital position for ensuring the successful rollout of these assessment tools in Alberta First Nation Home Care Programs. The individual in this role will play a significant part in achieving the project's goals.
