We are currently recruiting for a Tax and Accounting Manager in Toronto office. In this role, the individual will be supporting other Accounting Manager and Managing Partner in meeting all deadlines and will be preparing complex compilation and assurance engagements. The individual will act as a trusted business advisor with strong focus on serving clients.

The primary responsibilities will include:

- Prepare compilation and assurance engagements - supporting working papers and tax returns
- Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
- Work under tight deadlines, deliver quality work, anticipate and resolve client issues in a timely manner.
- Mentor, train and develop junior and senior staff.
- Comply with all confidentiality policies of the firm and applicable regulatory authorities.
- CPA designation or close to completing the process of obtaining designation
- Min 5 years experience in public accounting firm in Canada
- Ability to work independently on all types of engagements - compilations, review and audit engagements.
- In-depth knowledge of ASPE
- Team player with superior interpersonal, communication and client service skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Self-motivated and results driven
- Can easily work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Can be assigned multiple tasks and has ability to prioritize work meeting all deadlines.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership, coaching and people development skills
- Advanced computer knowledge including Caseware, Profile and Excel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
