Procurement Manager

Etobicoke, Canada Continual Energy Inc. Full time

We are currently looking for an individual to oversee procurement, warehouse, and shipping/receiving of all parts and components ordered for use in the implementation of heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment and controls projects for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Report directly to engineering and design team managers.
- Creation and dispatch of purchase orders utilizing the company’s systems as per direction and authorization and tracking of received goods.
- Coordination with vendors for availability and lead-time of required items.
- Shipping/receiving of parts, including coordination with courier and freight companies.
- Inventory management for warehouse, multiple offices, and project sites.
- Communication with field team members for updates on orders and delivery of parts to project sites.
- Delivery/pickup of parts, packages, and materials to/from locations within the GTA.
- Daily office work required from Monday through Friday, with occasional travel to project sites within GTA.

**Skills Required**:

- Understanding of and familiarity with procurement processes and accounting systems.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Accurate and efficient data entry into existing software systems.
- Experience with industry accounting and procurement software systems.
- Lifting, sorting, storage, and transport of parts, packages, and materials.
- Ability take direction, work in a fast-paced team and collaborative environment, multi-task, and maintain organization.
- Very comfortable with Windows-based computer systems and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of mechanical Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems.
- Industry experience with Building Automation and Direct Digital Controls (DDC).

**Qualifications and Education Required**:

- Diploma, degree, certification and/or equivalent relevant experience in related field.

**Compensation**:

- Salary commensurate with experience
- Three (3) weeks of vacation.
- Ten (10) paid days off (sick days).
- Health benefits package after ninety (90) day probationary period, includes dental and vision.
- Potential for tuition reimbursement.

**Schedule**:

- Typical work week is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Occasional overtime or after-hours/weekend work required.

**Other**:

- Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada.
- Applications must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Capable of passing an Ontario Contractor Security Screening Check (no criminal record).
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations (fully vaccinated) as required by client sites and general contractors.

- French not required
