**The Opportunity**
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording, classifying, and reconciling financial transactions;
2. Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure accurate and timely processing;
3. Prepare payroll, tax filings (e.g., GST/HST), and other related tasks;
4. Review and manage company expenses to ensure compliance with company policies;
5. Assist with annual audits by providing necessary documentation and support;
6. Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements;
7. Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and maintain accurate records.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field;
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills;
- Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processes;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team;
- CPA designation (or working towards one) is an asset but not required.
**Compensation**
- Base Salary: $ 50000-60000 Annually
- Benefits: extend health insurance
