**About the Role**:
This is a full-time position.

Your attention to detail, strong work ethic and positive attitude will assist you in succeeding with our company. On the job training is provided.

You have a sense of pride in your skills and are efficient, precise and uphold safe work place practices. Your strong communication skills will assist you in problem-solving and maintaining positive relationships with your team.

**Major Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Deal effectively in a high volume, fast paced environment purchasing merchandise, materials, components, equipment, etc.
- Resolve problems related to purchasing, delivery, receiving and payment to the supplier; and determine source of the problem and take appropriate corrective action
- Issue purchase orders on behalf of Sherwood Industries
- Track orders and update delivery status
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills and Experience**:

- Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel are essential
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented individual that can meet regular deadlines and can manage time efficiently
- Exceptional organization skills
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
