**LOCATIONS**:

**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Reporting to the Commercial Sales Director, the Complex Bid Manager will be integral to the delivery of strategic bids to both end users and developing bids in conjunction with indirect/channel partners.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Acts as primary point of contact in the bid process, between the client, partner, and internal staff.
- Sourcing, evaluating, and responding to bids in conjunction with sales, internal commercial departments (such as finance, engineering, professional services) and strategic / indirect channel partners.
- Maintains relationships with key partners (such as Microsoft, Telax) and stays current on training, sales funnel reporting, and events.
- Ensures content, pricing, financial viability, compliance is met and attends/plans strategy meetings with key stakeholders.
- Conducts and analyses win/lose reviews/feedback.
- Submits a completed bid to an existing or prospective client, on time and within budget.
- Ensure that all the client's questions have been answered as fully as possible, and that Distributel has given itself the best possible chance of success.
- Weekly updates into internal and Microsoft CRM.
- Lead user on RFP / Bid software.
**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Ability to communicate technical information in layman’s terms.
- Ability to maintain and develop strong professional relationships
- Self-motivation.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, organized.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Multi-tasking works well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken. French a strong asset.
**EDUCATION AND TRAINING**
- Minimum 2 years post-secondary in a related field, technical degree, telecommunications, business administration.
- Experience: 5+ years in a technical sales role.
**LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS**
- V-TSP Microsoft P-Seller Program
- Clarity Connect Sales Engineer training
