Quality Inspector

Reporting to the Quality Coordinator, your main mandate will be to ensure compliance with quality standards and processes in effect within the company in order to promote good practices in this area.
Here's an overview of your tasks:
- Respect the safety standards and the established production standards
- Interpret plans, drawings and technical specifications
- Measure production parts using measuring instruments
- Produce acceptance reports for new parts
- Operate a Zeiss and Mitutoyo CMM and interpret results
- Manage calibrations using a computerized system
- Prepare, mount and calibrate various instruments for production
- Prepare part non-conformance reports
- Produce dimensional reports indicating part measurements and tolerances
**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:
- Training deemed relevant to the job and/or experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of metrology and machining of metal parts
- Ability to manage priorities
- Be resourceful and a good team player
