Would you like to participate in the implementation, control, improvement and optimization of this process?
We have created a new position that will be perfect for you: Welding Process Specialist
Here's an overview of your tasks:
- Act as an expert in welding processes in order to define the specifications and key parameters to be controlled in order to optimize them
- Analyze customer requirements for the various welding processes and ensure that they are understood and coordinated across the various departments (operations, quality, methods, engineering)
- Coordinate and manage the implementation of new welded assemblies from the different departments
- Analyze and implement robust and cost-effective solutions to process-related issues in collaboration with related teams (OHS, maintenance, operations, engineering, etc.)
- Train inspectors and provide technical support to the various departments
**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:
- You have a DEC in mechanical engineering or other relevant training
- You are a CWB and AWS D14 certified welder (this earns you many points)
- You have a minimum of 6 to 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- You master the main welding processes
- You are proficient with Office 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
