Our client is a well-established Residential Low Rise Developer in Vaughan, Ontario, specializing in high-quality low-rise housing developments. They are looking to add a **Building Permit & Project Coordinator** to their team to support their growing portfolio of projects.

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Communicate effectively** with municipal authorities to ensure timely approvals and compliance with local regulations.
- Review and verify **architectural and engineering drawings** to ensure they meet city requirements before submission.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including **construction, design, and project management**, to ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Assist with **construction releases and approvals** to keep projects on schedule.
- Track permit statuses and resolve any issues or deficiencies identified by city officials.
- Stay updated on municipal building codes, zoning bylaws, and regulations affecting low-rise residential developments.
- Maintain organized permit records and documentation for future reference.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- ** Minimum 3 years** of experience handling building permits for residential low-rise developments.
- Strong knowledge of **Ontario Building Code, zoning bylaws, and municipal regulations** related to low-rise residential projects.
- Excellent verbal and written **communication skills** to liaise with city officials and internal teams.
- Ability to read and interpret **construction drawings and blueprints**.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely permit submissions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with permit management software is an asset.
