**Position Description**

**Title**: Concierge

**Reports To**: Operations Manager

**Summary**:The role of the concierge is to provide quick, efficient and courteous service to all customers of the property _while working as a team with site management to conduct duties that improve the tenant experience and maintain the facility._

**Responsibilities**:

- Proper dress attire required - Jacket & tie as supplied. Name tag must be visibly displayed. Clothes must be clean, pressed and properly buttoned up.
- Parks and retrieves resident’s vehicles upon arrival and departure from the property in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Directs and assists residents and visitors as they enter and exit the parking areas, lobby and their vehicles.
- Accurately documents all vehicle tag information, claim numbers, and key storage location.
- Ensures that vehicles are returned in the same condition in which they were received.
- Works as a team in keeping staging areas clear and maintaining smooth traffic flow in and out of the parking areas/terraces.
- Coordinates with Site Manager to patrol and enforce resident/visitor parking areas.
- Addresses lighting and safety issues located in the parking areas and assists in keeping areas free of debris.
- Receives and logs items delivered to residents
- Assists in emergency situations by directing emergency vehicles and maintaining traffic control as needed.
- Investigates and reports accidents within valet parking areas and educates involved patron on how to proceed regarding the damage.
- Make customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction, and assistance with opening of vehicle/building doors as required by customers.
- Reporting of all incidents in accordance with company policies _(including consistently and effectively keeping colleagues and the Site Manager/OM/AVP up-to-date with building activities that occur during the shift)._
- _ Verifying and communicating all vendor/contractor site access and activities to the site manager or OM/AVP_
- Any other duties specifically assigned by the Site Manager/OM/AVP _(e.g. delivering notices to tenants, removing any debris from the front lobby area, keeping the lobby in appropriate condition, salting and/or shoveling snow from the walkway if required, providing residents with information regarding projects taking place in the building etc.)_

**Qualifications**:

- Two years related experience such as customer service, parking enforcement or as a parking attendant
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License
- Demonstrates a passion for customer service
- Comfortable assisting customers and enforcing rules
- Positive, approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Must be able to respond quickly to requests for assistance in challenging situations.
- May be required to sit, stand, walk and/or work outdoors up to 8 to 12 hours per day
- CPR & First Aid Certification would be an asset
