We also produce several other ciders that are widely available in the LCBO and Grocery channel, such as Thornbury Cranberry Apple Cider, Thornbury Honeycrisp Apple Cider, and Thornbury Wild Blueberry Elderflower Apple Cider. We offer additional ciders at our on-site Retail Store and Tap Room in Thornbury Ontario. We pride ourselves on using only top-quality ingredients and 100% fresh-pressed Ontario apples.

Our brewery in Thornbury produces a wide selection of beers made in the heart of the Blue Mountains. Our Thornbury Pilsner has twice been awarded the World’s Best Lager Czech-Style Pale at the World Beer Awards. Our portfolio of craft beers can be found at the LCBO, in the Grocery channel and in bars and restaurants across Ontario.

**Position Summary**

Thornbury Craft Co. requires a full time “hands on” Production Manager for our Brewery and Cidery in Thornbury, Ontario. Reporting to the VP of Operations you will oversee and execute the production requirements of the site. This role is an integral part of our Thornbury operations and is pivotal to our continued growth and success of this business.

**Duties and Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;**
- Provide leadership and direction to operators that will enable their growth and capability
- Ensure all Health and Safety and Quality policies and procedures are enforced and being adhered to
- Develop and monitor production plans, inventories, and coordinate activities to meet schedules
- Continuously improve the operation by identifying opportunities and proposing solutions
- Troubleshoot process problems and guide maintenance and operators to solution; facilitate root cause problem solving.
- Prioritize all bottling maintenance work activities and work with the Maintenance Manager to ensure preventive maintenance on all production assets is being completed.
- Identify and lead KPI improvement projects.
- Ensure all production related inventory is organized to maximize efficiencies.
- Other duties shall be assigned as required.
- Post Secondary Education in Engineering, Science, Operation Management or Supply Chain
- Evidence of strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude; knowledge of packaging equipment an asset
- A self-starter with high energy levels and a “does what it takes” attitude.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Effective organizational skills.
- A flexible schedule is a must
- May be required to work weekends and off hours
