The Before & After School Program Assistant Manager’s primary responsibility is to oversee the planning, organizing, implementing, staffing and evaluation of all Before & After School and Mini Club Programs. The Before & After School Program Assistant Manager is a full-time position (35 hours per week) and is eligible for the full benefits package that BGCS provides. This position maintains a presence in various locations throughout Saskatoon and area and necessitates travel to these locations.
The Before & After School Program Assistant Manager must have the ability to be available via emergency cell phone between the hours of 6.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. and be available to work in programs. The Before & After School Program Assistant Manager may be occasionally required to work evenings, weekends and overtime hours to accommodate activities such as meetings, fundraisers or representing BGCS at public events.
The Before & After School Program Assistant Manager reports to the Before & After School Program Manager and to the Director of Children & Youth Programs of Boys & Girls Clubs of Saskatoon. The Assistant Manager works with the Program Manager to ensure the health and safety of all children participating in our Before & After School Programs. The Assistant Program Manager will assist the Program Manager in all areas and will manage the Before & After School Programs in the Manager’s absence.
