Our brewery is seeking an experienced Brewer to continue growing our brands in Vancouver’s craft beer community.

The position of Brewer reports to the Lead Brewer and is responsible for monitoring and carrying out brew house and cellar operations. Brewer is a key position and you must be a self-starter with great energy, true passion for craft beer and a focus on taste, quality and operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be accountable for brew house operations through to bright beer, CIP and sterilization, yeast collection and handling, and all associated tasks.
- Be accountable for blending operations for RTDs
- Work closely with the Lead Brewer to organize and plan daily activities
- Maintain consistent high quality of our core brands.
- Work with the Lead Brewer in the development of seasonal and collaborative brands
- Monitor and test at all stages against QA guidelines
- Keep meticulous brewing records
- Take the lead on material and supply management
- Lead improvement based initiatives
- Maintain high level of safety, quality and compliance standards
- Ensure the brewery is maintained at showcase standards of cleanliness at all times
- Occasionally represent the Brewery at events and festivals

This is a **Full-Time, Hourly **position with salary range starting at $24/hr, depending on experience and qualifications. Health benefits and RRSP match after 3 months.

**Qualifications**:

- Brewing experience, 1 year
- Formal education preferred
- Forklift certification an asset
- Class 5 Boiler ticket an asset
- First Aid Level 1 an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required
- Schedule flexibility a must - afternoon/evening shift required
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 25 kgs
- Passion and creativity

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
