**The Courtyards on Eagelson Retirement Residence**is looking for a **Maintenance Manager**to join our team

As the **Maintenance Manager**you would be responsible for the building’s preventative maintenance program and housekeeping department. You would coordinate the maintenance and repairs involving the building and the grounds, including the pool, and you would manage maintenance contracts. In addition, you would be responsible for day-to-day maintenance/housekeeping issues, and would response to residents maintenance needs.

You would work with other departments in order to coordinate the maintenance and repair activities with other building functions so as not to disturb or interrupt resident activities or normal business functions.

**Responsibilities will include, but not limited to**:

- Preventative maintenance
- Inspection and maintenance of facilities to maintain a safe and attractive environment
- Responding to emergency situations
- Maintaining an adequate inventory of day to day supplies.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Proven experience in the maintenance of equipment and building systems, including a basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and safety systems.
- Ability to self-regulate and work independently.
- Ability to supervise staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
