Earls Yaletown is currently looking for full and part time cooks for our catering and events business, the Loft at Earls. We offer competitive wages, flexible hours and some of the finest ingredients to work with. This role has a big emphasis on finesse and teamwork with a driven group of individuals. Events are a very customized part of our business each week.

We are looking for cooks who are interested in both full or part time work, or even casual on call. Experienced in:

- Building Charcuterie boards
- Scratch cooking
- Canape execution
- Execution of family style and plated dinners

The development path can lead you towards becoming the assistant event chef or event chef of the business. The other direction you could go if you are interested in becoming a head chef in our company (60+ restaurants in North America) is to move into the core team and progress through the prep team and then leadership within the Earls business.

As a business we are able to execute up to 100 person seated events, and 300 person standing events. You will be executing food for a variety of high pressure events, including weddings, corporate events, and wrap parties.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and break down catering events.
- Prepare and serve food to guests.
- Ensure that all food is served at the correct temperature.
- Keep kitchen clean and organized.
- Work with vendors to ensure that all necessary supplies are ordered and delivered on time.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests.
- Communicate effectively with clients and staff.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week

**Salary**: $15.65-$22.00 per hour
