We are currently seeking a reliable, full-time **Junior Accounting Clerk** to join our team at our Canadian head offices in Richmond, BC.

The Junior Accounting Clerk will assist in various accounting functions, including accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the financial services industry while working with accounting software and systems.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Support month-end AR close and reporting activities.
- Maintain accurate and organized customer account records.
- Communicate with internal teams and customers to resolve billing or payment issues.
- Assist with portal uploads and document management as needed.
- Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks and Truckmate
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed.

**Experience**
- 1-2 years of accounting or billing experience (AR experience preferred).
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is an asset.
- Familiarity with accounting (Quicbooks) or TMS software (TruckMate experience is an asset).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
