Voilà is a new team dedicated to launching and scaling Sobeys new e-commerce grocery home delivery business. This is a rare opportunity to join a start-up within a larger organization. **Overview**:
We have an immediate opening for an Inventory Manager to support the Voilà by Sobeys e-Commerce customer fulfillment centre operation in Vaughan, Ontario. This role is right at the heart of the operation. Critical tin organizing day to day inventory management, continually improving the core processes and engaging Business Analysts and Operational teams - this role will limit waste, through effective inventory management - helping the business grow.

You will be expected to manage a team of Inventory Team Leads. You will be someone who can analyse large data sets and be able to interpret this data into tangible improvements that can be implemented into the operation. Ultimately, you will be accountable for a number of Fulfillment KPIs which are integral to the quality of service we offer our customers.

Initially this will involve working in a pre-go live environment, which means, an opportunity to be involved in an exciting project from the start - not only learning world leading technology through a testing and commissioning phase - but also an opportunity to embed a market leading culture from the beginning.
- manage inventory teams and their operational processes
- provide analysis and action plans to reduce inventory loss
- comply with audit expectations, programs and standards
- act as liaison with the Procurement Department
- investigate and address product issues
- ensure warehouse financial reporting, relating to inventory shrink, is maintained accurately
- creating and maintaining site KPI reporting
- co-ordinate daily activities of inventory control staff
- comply, manage, and execute random standard audit process
- undertake ad-hoc statistical analysis and help interpret dat

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or combination of education and related experience
- minimum seven years in senior warehousing, transportation or logistics inventory management position
- experience working in a Third Party (3PL) or Retail logistics environment
- experience in successfully managing large teams in complex logistics operations
- experience working with cross-functional teams
- exceptional hands on Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge
- ability to provoke new thinking through tangible report creation
- strong technical skills and comfort with big data
- extensive inventory management experience in large-scale, highly automated sites
