We are looking for a Construction Office Administrator / Bookkeeper to run our small home office. If you are self

**Job Description**:
- Budget preparation, spreadsheets, and analysis of variances
- Job costing includes both new construction and rental properties.
- Manage multiple properties including Insurance, Tarion Warranties, Utilities set up and closing, etc.
- Manage Financial aspects and due diligence of acquisitions, major contracts, and trade quotes.
- Liaise with Lawyers, Engineers, Surveyors, Planners etc.
- Maintain and enforce Company calendar of target and due dates with all related parties that interact with
LAF Group Inc.
- Get trade quotes, prepare Purchase Orders, code, and approve payable invoices.
- Perform executive administrative functions for the owner.
- Bookkeeping functions on QuickBooks Desk Top.
- Maintain supplier construction files including WSIB and Insurance Certificates, etc.
- Government reporting (Federal, Provincial, Town / Municipality)
- Work with external Accountants office for Year Ends and other requirements
- As this is a young, dynamic company, we are looking for someone who can bring their construction office experience along with their desire to take on new roles and tasks.
Qualifications’
- Post Secondary education in Construction Management / Business or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar roles
- Advanced skills in Excel, Microsoft based software, QuickBooks Desk top or similar accounting software, file storage and maintenance.
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy are important as this position is the final check on all interactions regarding the company.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to meet and enforce deadlines with all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Selection decisions are solely based on job-related factors._
**Salary**: $28.00 per hour
