Clearly is seeking a dynamic individual to add to the success of our Retail team at our West Edmonton Mall team as an Optometric Assistant.

**What You Will Be Responsible For**:

- Manage clinic patient flow
- Greet visitors and ensure patients are checked in
- Conduct pretesting for patients' eye exams and contact lens training
- Assist patients and customers in selecting, adjusting and sales of glasses
- Act as liaison between patient, Eyewear Consultants and doctor
- Manage and Maintain clinic reception
- Ensure exam rooms and retail areas are tidy at all times
- Trial lens ordering and stock managing
- Clinic and store statistics and analytics
- Answer front desk telephone line and direct calls to appropriate persons
- Shifts will be various; will include weeknights and weekends
- Other tasks as assigned
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Detail oriented with strong organization skills
- Ability to solve problems and make quick decisions
- Possess a pleasant and professional demeanor
- Dedicated team player and self-motivated
- Ability to type 50 wpm
- Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Good sense of humor and positive attitude go a long way
- 2-3 years of experience as an Optometric Assistant, as asset
