WTS works collaboratively with other IT groups within Western’s faculties and support units, to leverage central supported technology solutions and services where it makes sense. **Responsibilities**: **Responsibilities** **Education** Must be a full time student at Western (enrolled in minimum 3.5 courses), and expect to retain full-time student status for the duration of this appointment. **Experience** 1 year in a customer service role **Skills, Abilities & Expertise**: - Understanding of Western's academic and administrative structure - Excellent verbal communication skills - Ability to interact professionally with students, staff, faculty, and other members of the University community - Customer service skills with a desire to achieve results in a professional and timely manner - Detail-oriented with an ability to function and process information with high levels of accuracy - Ability to create a positive impression while interacting with others and responding to inquiries, by telephone, in person or electronically - Computer skills with the ability to learn and use software programs - Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite - Knowledge of general office procedures - Ability to prioritize and organize a fluctuating work load - Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of the team to achieve department goals - Demonstrated ability to understand and resolve external and internal partner issues **Why Western?**: Consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, experience, and qualifications.
