Averton is an experienced and award-winning homebuilder, community developer and construction management company and we’re looking to add a **Development Coordinator** to bring our homes to the highest level of completion.

This role will play a key part in Averton's continual commitment to our homeowner experience by ensuring that every detail is covered, starting with the roads within the community and pipes placed in the ground to ensure our purchasers receive the best possible experience.

**As the Development Coordinator you will be responsible for the following**:

- Aid the Development Project Manager in proper creation and issuance of budgets in Newstar, Purchase Orders as required, budget updates and accuracy, schedule updates and accuracy and reporting of schedules and budgets specific to development
- Process payment of invoices and the tracking of payments against budget
- Aid the Development Project Manager in progress of Engineering/Construction approvals: civil, landscaping and utility coordination
- Coordinate with multi-disciplined consultant teams in processing approvals
- Review and summarize development comments from approval authorities and work with the Development Project Manager to oversee the resolution of the issues
- Maintain and file appropriate records of approvals, engineering plans, Permits Completion Certificates for each project
- Stay current on Municipal and Provincial policies along with industry initiatives
- Maintain tracking of CCC and FAC maintenance and work with consultants, contractors, and Municipalities to ensure inspections and releases are occurring as required
- Coordination of condominium documents with Development Project Manager to ensure property management, legal team and surveyors are prepared for project/sales launch and condo turn over
- Condominium Development Applications, registration and turnover of Condo Boards
- Contribute to the development and adherence of Standard Operating Procedures and Policies to support process improvements and other corporate initiatives
- Aid in the neighborhood association establishment and maintenance as required by the Development Project Manager
- Other tasks as required and assigned by leadership

**On your resume we will be looking for the following qualifications**:

- 2+ years of work experience in Project Management in the development or residential construction industry
- Familiarity with Construction Management Software
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Access to a vehicle for regular site visits
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail
