Brandt is currently looking for a Customer Support Advisor (CSA) - Material Handling at our Edmonton location. The CSA is a professional salesperson responsible for promoting and selling material handling parts and service, as well as providing after sales support to existing and new customers. Responsibilities also include meeting sales revenue objectives and profit goals set by the branch.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Regularly prospect and cold call new accounts to discuss new promotions and other incentives.
- Assure good working relationships with customers, resolving problems and growing customer loyalty, by regularly communicating with them on current service, new products and services, and new promotions.
- Visit customers in Area of Responsibility (AOR), a minimum of 1 visit per month.
- Develop prospective customers with a goal of 2 per month.
- Increase parts and service sales and provide Material Handling sales leads to the Material Handling sales team.
- Implement yearly territory plan including a customer target list.
- Maintain and utilize the database records related to each customer. Sales meetings, opportunities, quotes, notes, and any other documentation as required.
- Work cooperatively with management to meet and maximize budget goals and expand customer base by presenting and implementing new marketing strategies.
- Maintain control of inventory in the company vehicle, ensuring price list is always available.
- Follow up all customer complaints and communicate effectively to the Branch Manager, Parts Manager, and Sales Manager.
- Participate in all training, using Part Master Booklets to increase knowledge.
- Maintain cleanliness and scheduled maintenance of company vehicle.
- Assist the parts counter personnel with quotes, orders, deliveries, returns, and inventory control when needed.
- Supply competitive product and pricing information to Parts Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills**:

- Journeyman ticket as a heavy-duty mechanic and or Parts person will be an asset.
- Previous sales experience in the material handling industry.
- Ability to travel within the territory and work flexible hours.
- Valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract are required.
- Positive and professional attitude to both internal and external challenges.
- Understanding of specialized material handling equipment and industry.
- Strong time management and people skills, with high desire to serve customers and nurture relationships.
- Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions, complete tasks under pressure, and cooperate with team members who may have different focus and priorities.
- Proficient skills with basic computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel).
