- Retail Sales Representative**

**Primary Responsibilities**:
We are looking for Full time position up to 35 hours a week or Part-Time position with up to 20 hours a week. The successful applicant must be able to work weekends (10-3pm) and/or until store closure Monday-Friday at 6pm.

**This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has an aptitude for selling and desire to exceed customers’ expectation, is passionate about beads and jewelery-making and has the potential to grow with the company**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that all customers receive excellent service through direct salesmanship, and prompt and courteous service.
- Assisting customers with questions, needs and purchases.
- Cultivating successful relationships with retail customers.
- Completing each transaction in a quick and efficient manner.
- Cleaning shelves, counters, and tables.
- Greeting each customer that comes into the store in a warm manner.
- Identifying customer requirements.
- Preparing merchandise for display.
- Assisting customers with purchase decisions.
- Assisting in physical inventory counts.
- Implementing all visual merchandising standards.
- Setting up merchandise on the sales floor.
- Making sure that customers receive receipts on all purchases.
- Watching out for loss prevention through leakage and theft.
- Able to work weekend shifts

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum two years’ experience of customer services preferred
- Has the attributes and potential to grow within the company
- Experience working with Jewelery, arts and crafts an asset
- Retail experience preferred
- Must be able to multitask and work under pressure
- Knowledge of sales administrative processes and procedures
- Above average knowledge of customer services
- Must be customer-service oriented and detail-oriented
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, but also have the patience to listen to customers' concerns
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with database management would be an asset
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

**Compensation**:
Depends on experience.

Pay: $16.75-$18.50 per hour
