Construction Estimator

**WallPro Systems Limited is a Lower Mainland industry leader in indoor, hygienic wall** protection and ceiling systems. We are rapidly growing our business and are looking to add motivated and reliable full-time members to our team. Compensation based upon experience and relevant skills but starting at $40.24 per hour with an expected 40 hours per week.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. This position will work from our office located at 17665 66A Ave, Unit 107, Surrey, BC V3S 7X1 with occasional remote work available.

Position Summary:
The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and project bids for wall and ceiling system installations. You will collaborate closely with the sales, design, and project management teams to ensure all project requirements are met on time and within budget.

You will be required to perform all estimating related duties including quantity take-offs, liaising with sales staff and suppliers to validate supplier quotes and preparing estimates, proposals and client summaries.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Preparing work to be estimated by gathering proposals, building plans/blueprints, specifications and related documents to prepare estimates
- Developing estimates and proposals, identifying cost breakdowns, clarifications and job scope details
- Maintaining cost database by entering and backing up data
- Preparing custom reports and summaries
- Following systems and procedures outlined in Company directives
- Guaranteeing client objectives & expectations are met
- Maintaining excellent relationships with all stakeholders
- Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates and proposals for clients
- Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure estimates align with company goals and client expectations
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required
- Assist in developing cost-saving strategies and value engineering proposals

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of estimating experience in the construction industry
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and building codes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar)
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
