**OVERVIEW**

Kids Great Minds is hiring **camp counselor staff**for summer 2025. We provide a fun computer learning experience that is non-traditional and built specifically for children, teens and their learning style.

Kids Great Minds counselors have a unique blend of professionalism and some experience with children. They also have a genuine desire to work with children and teens, while being flexible, patient, energetic, tolerant and ready to have fun Our counselors will work closely with the lead instructors, along with other camp staff.

**CORE DUTIES**
- Work directly with the Head Instructor.
- Aid students in groups or one-on-one with any questions they may have.
- Take part in **staff meetings (online or in person)**, to occur before and/or after camp on a designated day
- Take part in **team building** activities.
- Lead games and activities during break times
- **Engage with students**during breaks and lunch to ensure they are safe and having fun.
- Assist with classroom setup and turnover.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

NOTE: Kids Great Minds will provide intensive training prior to camp

**PRE-COURSE TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION**

Obtain CPR-C Certification at least seven days prior to the start of camp. Kids Great Minds is not responsible for the fees or scheduling.

Complete all online and onsite trainings.

Complete all contracts, hiring packets, and police background check prior to start date.

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call

Ability to commute/relocate:

- GTA, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- summer camp: 1 year (preferred)
