The Opportunity
We’re on the hunt for an experienced registry professional with advanced knowledge, exceptional sales and service skills, and a drive to make every member interaction outstanding.
This is not your average front-counter gig. As a Registry Agent 4, you’ll be the go-to expert for both members and business clients, someone who can handle complex files, lead with confidence, and support our team’s success in every transaction. You bring sharp attention to detail, a strong understanding of policy, and a friendly, can-do attitude that sets the tone for excellence in our centres.
A Place to Belong
AMA is more than a workplace; it’s a family. Together, we help protect the things that matter most to our more than one-million members—everything from roadside safety to retail savings, food security to childhood well-being. And with operations that span automotive, registries, travel, insurance and more, the opportunities to grow with us are almost limitless
Building on a century of proud service in Alberta communities, we’re passionate about making a meaningful difference in the places where we live and work. And that all begins with our people. As part of the AMA team, you’ll enjoy:
- Flexible benefits with 5 different packages to select, ranging from $1000 - $3000 in health and wellness spending accounts.
- Outstanding employer-paid Retirement Savings Plan (5% AMA contribution + 5% AMA matching).
- Great AMA discounts like 50% off memberships, driver education programs, and registry services.
- Unlimited learning opportunities, including full Udemy access and dedicated learning time for personal development.
- Paid time off, including 3 weeks of vacation, Me-Day, and Volunteer Day. Also, the flexibility to purchase 1 or 2 additional vacation weeks.
Who You Are
- You’re passionate about providing expert-level service and thrive in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
- You’re highly organized, detailed, and can handle complex registry transactions with accuracy and ease.
- You take ownership of problems and see them through to solution—especially when it comes to business clients or escalated member issues.
- You’re a team player who helps others shine, leads by example, and jumps in when support is needed.
- You know how to sell the right service at the right time and see every member interaction as an opportunity to build trust.
- You’ve got experience with business accounts, CORES, fleet bundles, and corporate registries—and you’re the one others go to for advice.
- You’re not just good with people—you’re great with people. Whether it’s a new member, a longtime business client, or a teammate, you make everyone feel welcome.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Complete registries, membership, product and service transactions - accurately, confidentially and in a timely manner.
- Deliver exceptional sales and service, meeting or exceeding revenue and satisfaction targets.
- Act as a knowledge leader in registry operations, guiding members, team members, and business clients through policies and procedures.
- Manage complex member and business inquiries with professionalism, privacy compliance, and an eye for detail.
- Support operational excellence by following protocols, upholding audit standards, and promoting our brand with pride.
- Champion AMA Driver Education, Membership, and Registry services—helping connect the dots for members across our offerings.
- Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with government contacts and internal partners to support smooth operations.
What You Bring to the Table
- You’re at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma (post-secondary education is a bonus).
- You have a current Police Information Check (PIC).
- You have proven experience in Alberta Registries, ideally with advanced-level certification.
- You have or are willing to complete the following certifications:
- Basic Registries
- Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan
- Alberta Organ and Tissue Donor Registry
- Commissioner for Oaths
- Corporate Registry Level II (Level III an asset)
- Personal Property (APPRES)
- You’ve completed or are willing to complete training in:
- Driver Education Sales
- AMA Membership
- Provincial Call Flow
- Sales, Customer Service, and Conflict Resolution
- Business Accounts and Sales Skills
- You’re comfortable acting as a resource to peers, supporting learning, and ensuring alignment with AMA and GOA standards.
