Description:
As a Social Worker III, you will perform either advanced level assessment and treatment or act as a clinical lead. You will work with or within teams to provide health care services for patients with complex and multidimensional medical, psychosocial, environmental and instrumental needs. You will provide advanced clinical services, consultation to the interprofessional team and patients/families and supervision of students and team members as assigned. You may also act as a clinical lead providing leadership in the planning, development, and delivery of services in a specific area, as well as staff development, quality improvement and evaluation or research activities as identified by the needs of the service area(s).

**Required Qualifications**:
Master's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Three-five years of experience in pediatric social work, preferably in an acute health care setting. Formal training and demonstrated ability to deliver trauma-informed interventions. Formal training and demonstrated ability in crisis intervention. Formal training and demonstrated experience supporting families through grief and loss. Demonstrated experience with the intersection of child welfare and medical Social Work to address child maltreatment and neglect. Advanced interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to organize work and set priorities autonomously.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Advanced clinical skills and experience working within a variety of pediatric environments, including but not limited to the PICU, NICU, Emergency, and Palliative Care. Experience working with mental health concerns impacting the family system is an asset.
