**This position reports to**:
Director, Materials Management, ELIP

**Your role and responsibilities**:

- Control inventory levels within assigned commodity group using established policies and procedures - Work with the system mainframe computer, produce and analyze MRP requirements and execute action plan in accordance (i.e. places purchase orders, cancel, expedite, de-expedite) - Perform daily, weekly and monthly follow-ups with suppliers regarding open orders - Acts as liaison between ABB and our supplier base on such varied aspects and departments (i.e. Quality, Engineering, Materials Management) - Interacts with customer service, inside sales and marketing departments on data gathering, analysis, decision making and execution for all day to day operations affected by procurement activities - Perform and communicate periodically forecast to supplier

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, B.Comm or equivalent
- Experience in using the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, SAP & AS400 platform knowledge is an asset
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Have a collaborative, solution-oriented attitude and strong communication and analytical skills
- Be bilingual, both spoken and written (French and English)
- Be comfortable learning new systems
- This is a 12 month Maternity leave replacement and could be extend should need be.
