**Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to individuals 1:1 in a nursing homes environments. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized support and ensuring their comfort and safety.

**Duties**
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to appropriate staff members.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional health.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in senior care, assisted living, home care, or hospice care is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient care practices and the ability to follow care plans effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Certification or training in medication administration is a plus.
- A background in nursing or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.

Pay: From $19.22 per hour
