**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
- Assist with bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Support budgeting processes and assist in financial report writing.
- Conduct account analysis and ensure accurate account reconciliation.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, Xero, or similar tools for financial management.
- Process payroll and manage tax-related documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of financial tasks and reporting.
- Provide support for governmental accounting requirements when applicable.
**Requirements**:
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, Xero) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including non-profit accounting experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and bank reconciliation.
- Ability to perform technical accounting tasks including account analysis and budgeting.
- Experience with 10 key typing for efficient data entry is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management.
