**Position: Part Time Permanent, Maintenance Aide**

**Schedule: Days, 0800-1600**

- Parisien Manor is looking for a Maintenance Aide who can functions as a “resident advocate. On a daily basis, the Maintenance Aide will be responsible for specific operations related to mechanical, electrical and maintenance departments. _

As a Maintenance Aide, you will be accountable for
- Promoting bill of rights by building rapport with our residents, family members, employees, and our clients of the home.
- Conduct all the duties related to the occupational health and safety procedures of the company to keep our home safe and healthy.
- Painting operations of the home, making sure everything is as per the company standards.
- Assist with the property maintenance including exterior duties including snow removal property lightning, garbage, and other general operations.
- As handy person this job also includes janitorial duties such as cleaning and disinfecting the ground floor.
- Other duties as required.
- Post-Secondary Certificate in Skill trades or related program or high level of experience.
- One year or more of experience in a similar position with working knowledge of electrical and mechanical home operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Ability to multitask, time management and can work independently.
- Ability to prioritize work and must be able to work in fast paced environment.
- Valid Ontario Drivers license
