**Chiropractic/Physiotherapy Admin Assistant (30-35 Hours/week)**

We are a busy multi-disciplinary health care clinic looking to add a new Administrative Assistant/manager to our team during a staff member’s maternity leave. Hours vary from mornings to afternoon/evenings Monday - Friday.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting patients in a happy, energetic nature and managing efficient flow of the clinic
- Assisting Health Practitioners as required - patient care, cleaning, bringing equipment to treatment rooms
- Handling daily admin duties - scheduling appointments, scanning/indexing files, online direct billing, taking payments, billing Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA) and Workers Compensation Board (WCB), general record keeping
- Proper cleaning and sanitizing of treatment areas and frequently touched items, as well as laundry (employee must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and descend/climb stairs on a regular basis)

**Required Skills**:

- At least 2 years experience in a physio or chiropractic clinic
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping people
- Detail orientated, organized and hard working
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and keep a calm composure in a busy environment
- Able to work in a team as well as independently
- Ability to learn and adapt on the go
- Understanding of WCB and Motor vehicle accident protocols

*Knowledge of Healthquest EMR program and MVA/WCB protocols an asset but not required.*
