**Duties**:
- Provides guidance to management, scientists, and technical staff regarding agricultural research operations at the Farm.
- Supervises staff engaged in the delivery of services for agriculture and related operations.
- Oversees safety for all who work on site and responsible for compliance of safety protocols.
- Participates in developing plans for land use in current and succeeding years.
- Coordinates the servicing and maintenance of farm equipment.
- Researches and participates in tendering documents, maintains and compiles records and inventories, and prepares purchase requisitions for material and supplies.

Education:
- Graduation with a diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, or an acceptable combination of education, training or experience.

Experience:
- Experience working in an agricultural environment.
- Experience in communicating with a diverse range of clients or stakeholders.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel or Teams).
- Experience operating vehicles or equipment (e.g., trucks, tractors, commercial equipment, or forklifts).
- Experience in managing budgets and inventories.
- Experience in supervising personnel.
Asset qualification - education:
- Graduation with a diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in an agriculture, natural sciences or business field.
Degree equivalency

- Possession of a pesticide applicator certification.
Asset qualifications - experience:
- Experience working in a research environment (e.g., agriculture or natural sciences).
- Experience in maintaining farm equipment.
- Experience in pest and disease management in agriculture.
