**Accounting Manager**

**Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following**:

- Accounting Duties:_
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including AP/AR, general ledger and payroll
- Full cycle accounting for individual entities
- AR/AP review, approval, training, and support
- Inter-company transactions
- Reconciliations for bank, GL, inter-company and corporate credit cards
- Monthly & year-end GL reconciliations & file preparation
- Assist with the monthly consolidation process.
- Asset listing maintenance
- Vendor and customer analysis
- Other special project tasks and coverage as needed.
- Reporting_
- Actual to budget variance reviews for managers
- Assist with monthly financial statement preparation and related analysis.
- General accounting, tax compliance, and financial records management of related companies

- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and motivated to learn in-house software

**Education and experience**
- Post secondary education with a degree or diploma in accounting
- 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience
- CPA designation or enrolled in the Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) Designation Program
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Experience with SAP B1 is considered an asset
- Experience working in a multi-currency environment is considered an asset
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word

This is a full-time, year-round position located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island commencing as soon as possible.
